CardMakeTool ("we", "the app") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data the app handles and why. We do not sell your data, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
Words and example sentences (User Content)
When you use the AI definition or pronunciation audio features, the word and example sentence you select are sent to our server and to third-party providers (DeepSeek for definitions, OpenAI for text-to-speech) solely to generate the definition or audio you requested. We do not store this content in our own database. Generated pronunciation audio may be cached on our storage to avoid regenerating it.
Anonymous identifier
The app generates a random anonymous identifier (UUID) on your device. It is not linked to your name, email, or any account. We use it only to track your monthly usage allowance for Pro features.
Purchase information
Subscriptions are processed through RevenueCat and Apple. Purchase records are used only to verify your subscription status and manage your access to Pro features.
The following services may process the data described above on our behalf, under their own privacy policies:
Your cards, drafts, and any offline dictionary files you import are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to us.
We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, health data, browsing history, or any analytics. We do not use any third-party analytics or crash-reporting tools. We do not track you.
This app is not directed at children under 13.
